IMPORTANT: You can skip the first two readings for the final that are shown on the syllabus.  In other words: Tilly's "Does Modernization Breed Revolt" and Kelly and Klein's "Revolution and the Rebirth of Inequality."   BUT, you need to ADD to your readings the one found at the link below under "Lecture Material and Supplements" that is then seen under the link that says "Chapters by Ray Eve on Social Movements." I.e., it's the chapter on the black movement and the student movement of the 60's).

Also, please note that we are rather thin on lecture material for the last exam.  So you should expect the final to consist of about three-fourths questions from the readings.
