Criminology Extra Credit Assignment

In an effort to evaluate the new text provided for this course, your extra credit option for this semester will focus on your reactions to the video segments embedded in the text. You need to review the videos presented in the chapters and provide your insights concerning the specific content and “fit” with the material surrounding the video segments in the text.

You may obtain up to 2 points credit on your overall course grade for doing the following exercise for 8 double-spaced, type-written pages.

You may obtain up to 4 points credit on your overall course grade for doing the following exercise for 15 double-spaced, type-written pages.

Review videos of interest to you. Then, for each video reviewed:

1. Identify precisely where the video is located in the text.

2. Answer on a scale of 1(low) to 5 (very relevant) how relevant the video is

to the material surrounding it, and to the course in general.

3. Provide at least one, and no more than three, paragraphs explaining how

and why you decided which level of relevance to assign to any one

particular video segment.
